ARENA Infinity VR Gun gives you the most realistic shooting experience

In April of this year, Striker VR showed a VR gun accessory - ARENA Infinity. Today the company launched the ARENA Infinity prototype.

ARENA Infinity is a VR tactile rifle. Although it is a rifle, it can simulate a wide variety of device types. In addition to a variety of guns, it can also simulate tools such as a knife saw.

The ARENA Infinity has a built-in tactile engine that can provide single-shot shooting, recoil fire, and other effects, such as the need to charge the track gun before firing, or the effect of a chainsaw to dismember the zombie. When playing VR zombie games or war games, using ARENA Infinity will definitely increase your immersion.

Arena Infinity is still a prototype device, so it uses a temporary tracker. However, the company plans to add support for several formal tracking systems. Arena Infinity currently supports PhaseSpace and Sixense STEM tracking systems. Future plans to integrate Valve's Lighthouse, Ocukus' Constellation, and PS Move's tracking system.

The Arena Infinity Developer Kit will ship to some partners in the fourth quarter of this year. The kit includes haptic guns, SDKs, tactile sandboxes, and more. As for the consumer version, there is no news at present.
