The UTP currently used can be divided into three categories, four categories, five categories, super five, six, and six categories. Among them: Category 3 UTP adapts to Ethernet (10Mbps) requirements for transmission media, and is an important transmission medium in early networks; Category 4 UTP is later than Category 3 due to standard introduction, and transmission performance is not compared with Category 3 UTP. The increase is much less, so it is generally less used; the five types of UTP become the preferred medium for Fast Ethernet (100Mbps) because of its low price and high quality; the use of Super Category 5 UTP is Gigabit Ethernet (1000Mbps).
The super five unshielded twisted pair cable is a cable that appears after improving some of the performance of the existing five types of shielded twisted pair. Many performance parameters, such as near-end crosstalk, attenuation crosstalk ratio, and return loss, are available. Increased, but its transmission bandwidth is still 100MHz.
The unshielded super five twisted pair also uses four pairs and one ripcord. Although Category 5 unshielded twisted pair cables can provide transmission bandwidths of up to 1000 Mb/s, they often require the support of expensive special equipment. Therefore, it is usually only applied to 100Mb/s Fast Ethernet to realize the connection of the desktop switch to the computer. If you are not ready to upgrade your network to Gigabit Ethernet in the future, you may wish to use Super Category 5 unshielded twisted pair in horizontal cabling.

Super Category 5 twisted pair is mainly used by communication companies or network companies to deploy outdoor short-distance links.
