The entire building of the Danish pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo is a huge curved and rotating track structure. Like the super slide in the children's park, the Danish pavilion named "Happy Life, Fairytale Paradise" is divided into two parts, indoor and outdoor, by two circular tracks. A coherent platform will connect them.
In the design of BIG (Bjarke IngelsGroup), a design company from Denmark, the exterior facade of the pavilion is the most economical and energy-saving part of the building. The holes above allow the sunlight to shine into the room and also contribute to natural ventilation. They are equipped with independently controllable LED point light sources to adjust the light environment in the venue. The perfect effect of the night sky LED will also be dotted with the façade.
