Designed for the rapidly expanding field of LED lighting, the first LUXEON Rebel LED products offer a wide range of options for a wide range of applications. For example, shopping in the city center requires warm-light lighting; road lighting requires low-temperature light, so the requirements for lighting products are different.

The nine new LUXEON Rebel LED products are resistor-divided according to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards, all meeting the minimum specified color rendering coefficient. Each product's light output and lumen maintenance are up to ENERGY STAR® and other light efficiency standards. In addition, the new products are also recognized for their high efficiency, long life and high reliability in other LUXEON Rebel series products.
According to Steve Barlow, executive vice president of business at Philips Lumileds, Philips Lumileds will continue to increase the range of LUXEON white LED products for potential applications of hundreds of LEDs, offering products with a wide range of product specifications and performance.
