The booming LED industry in Shenzhen has been repeatedly frustrated by the technical barriers in the export market. Yesterday, it was learned from the policy publicity meeting held by Shenzhen Inspection and Quarantine Bureau that in the first half of the year, among the export lamps that Shenzhen was recalled by the European Union, LED lamps accounted for nearly 40%, and technical trade barriers have become a major obstacle to the development of this industry.
Shenzhen is now the world's leading LED lighting production base, backlight production base, and display production base. However, because the core technology is monopolized by European, American and Japanese manufacturers, the existing foreign technical trade barriers in the LED industry have made the product export channel unsmooth. In the first half of this year, the Shenzhen Inspection and Quarantine Bureau organized a survey on the impact of foreign technical barriers to trade in Shenzhen enterprises. The results showed that more than 30% of export enterprises were affected by foreign technical barriers to trade, and the direct losses amounted to billions of dollars.
