Recently, the National 863 Program Semiconductor Lighting Project Management Office and the National Semiconductor Lighting Engineering R&D and Industry Alliance Secretariat organized a semiconductor lighting R&D fund launch meeting. The establishment of the semiconductor lighting research and development fund aims to help enterprises narrow the gap with the level of foreign industrialization technology. The primary task is to form a community of interests through joint investment, solve key technical problems in the development of semiconductor lighting, improve product quality, and jointly face the international competition.
After nearly two years of brewing, the research and development fund model of joint investment, risk sharing and benefit sharing has gradually become clear. At the meeting, the charter and management methods of the semiconductor lighting research and development fund were discussed, and the representatives of the sponsoring units voluntarily subscribed for the fund shares. The first phase of the fund is 20 million yuan. The establishment of the fund has taken a positive step for China's semiconductor lighting industry to achieve strong alliances and share the risk and benefit sharing model. It has made a gratifying exploration for the emerging technology industry to participate in international competition.
