Smart phone use satisfaction rate iPhone leader

According to foreign media reports, according to a survey conducted by the market research firm ChangeWave on the “consumers purchase new mobile phones”, the satisfaction of the users who purchased the Apple iPhone was higher than that of mobile phone users who purchased other manufacturers, and they purchased within the past 6 months. 77% of iPhone users said they were "very satisfied."

According to reports, this survey included 1,212 U.S. mobile phone users. Seventy-one percent of users who purchased Motorola smartphones in the past six months said they were "very satisfied" and are listed second in the survey. And RIM's "very satisfied" rate of users in the survey was only 44%.

After further digging of the iPhone mobile phone users, ChangeWave found that the user satisfaction rate of purchasing iPhone 4 mobile phone is higher than the user satisfaction rate of buying iPhone 3G mobile phone.

The user satisfaction rates of the 32GB and 16GB models of the iPhone 4 were 84% and 78%, respectively. In March of this year, the user satisfaction rate of the iPhone 3G models was 81% and 77% respectively.

A further survey of RIM mobile phone users found that the user satisfaction rate for buying RIM BlackBerry Torch was only 64%, while the customer satisfaction rate for buying RIM BlackBerry Bold and Curve was only 48% and 40% respectively.

ChangeWave's investigation report also shows that if it is not limited by the mobile operator's iPhone sales rights, 34% of the surveyed users expressed that they want to use the Apple iPhone now. They feel “regret” for the previous purchase option. The disadvantage for Motorola is that among the Motorola mobile phone users who participated in the survey, 37% said that they are not restricted by the mobile operator's iPhone sales rights, and they prefer to buy Apple's iPhone. And 39% of Motorola mobile phone users said they will continue to purchase Motorola smartphones.

ChangeWave's survey also showed that HTC smartphones are Apple's iPhone's most powerful competitor. 54% of HTC smart phone users said that they will continue to purchase the company's products, even if other mobile operators get the right to sell the iPhone will not affect their choice. However, there are still 32% of HTC smart phone users said that they could choose to buy Apple iPhone.

The survey report released by ChangeWave in September showed that 37% of the 4000 users surveyed indicated that they were more inclined to purchase smart phones with Android operating systems. Users who chose to purchase smartphones using the iPhone OS operating system also reached 38%.
