The first phase of "simulator training"


The simulator is a computer simulation software that helps beginners develop the correct rudder direction and rudder timing. Through the practice in the simulator, you can greatly reduce the time and cost of getting started. This course uses the Phoenix simulator commonly used in the market as an example.

First, master the hover skills


1. Learning objectives:

Ability to complete hovering of four positions of a single channel;

Ability to complete an eight-hook hover with throttle passage;

Suggested class hours: 93 class hours.


2. Know the two rocker functions

Suggested class hours: 1 class hour;

3. Learning objectives

According to the movement of the rocker, the names of the four rudder surfaces can be accurately stated;

According to the movement of the plane on the screen, it is possible to accurately tell which rocker is moving in which direction.


4. Study arrangements

The meaning of the four rudder surfaces:

(1) The aileron controls the left and right translation of the aircraft, the nose is not deflected, and the aircraft rotates around its longitudinal axis;

(2) The pitch control moves the front and rear of the aircraft, and the aircraft rotates around its own horizontal axis;

(3) The up and down translation of the throttle control aircraft changes the height of the aircraft from the ground;

(4) The direction controls the yaw rotation of the aircraft, and the aircraft rotates around its own vertical axis.


Pitch, which direction is the rudder surface similar to the car? Which rudder surfaces are not available in the car?

The pitch control is similar to the forward and backward movement of the car, and the direction control is similar to the steering wheel of the car.


The difference between Japanese hand (model1) and American hand (model2):

(1) The characteristics of the Japanese hand are that the two rudder pitches and ailerons that control the attitude of the aircraft are controlled by the left and right hands respectively, the throttle is controlled in the right hand, and the direction is controlled in the left hand.


(2) The characteristics of the American hand are that the two rudder pitches and ailerons that control the attitude of the aircraft are uniformly controlled by the right hand, and the throttle and direction are controlled in the left hand.


(3) The rocker corresponding to the four rudder surfaces:

American hand: aileron J1 rocker, lifting J2 rocker, throttle J3 rocker, direction J4 rocker

Japanese hand: aileron J1 rocker, lifting J3 rocker, throttle J2 rocker, direction J4 rocker


(4) Sequence of the passage: the first passage of the aileron, the second passage of the pitch, the fourth passage of the direction, the third passage of the throttle, and the sixth passage of the pitch (helicopter).
