LeTV's electric car startup Faraday Future stopped building the factory because it was difficult to digest it at the CES show, and you believe it?
In this regard, Faraday's official response in the future is that the preparatory work for the second phase of construction has now started.
At the CES2017 conference that just ended at the previous time, Faraday's future grand event launched its first electric production car FF91.
The FF91 is the first production car in Faraday's future plan, the benchmark Tesla. Users in mainland China only need to pay a deposit of RMB 50,000 (can be fully refunded) to complete the FF91 booking. The company previously claimed that it had received 64,124 scheduled orders in just 36 hours.
However, due to the high cost of the event, the company had to stop the construction of the factory to digest the costs incurred by participating in CES. The report further pointed out that Nick Sampson, senior vice president of future R&D and engineering at the company, told the BBC that the company is facing some challenges and is now in a period of resource constraints, and he has not responded to when the factory will resume work.
Faraday Future issued an official statement: The Faraday Future Nevada plant project is progressing smoothly, and the first phase was completed in December last year. At present, the preparatory work for the second phase of construction has started. It is expected that the first batch of FF 91 electric vehicles originally scheduled for 2018 will be officially delivered as planned.
