TE introduces 0.6 mm centerline high speed CHAMP docking station series connector

To meet the growing demand for hybrid I/O connectors , TE Connectivity ( TE ), formerly Tyco Electronics, has introduced a 0.6 mm center-to-high speed CHAMP docking station series connector .

Designed for high-density, low-profile (3.8 mm) shielding applications, this series of connectors has two rows of contacts on a 0.6 mm pitch centerline. Contacts on the 0.6 mm centerline save 30% of the board space, and the 3.8 mm thick outline also reduces the connector's height by approximately 25%. The connector offers a variety of options, including right angle sockets, right angle offset sockets, and vertical plugs for docking stations and cable applications.

TE 's 0.6 mm centerline high-speed CHAMP docking station series connectors are designed to meet the data transmission standards of different industries, including USB 3.0, HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2.

The product can be used in areas such as personal computers (including laptops and desktops) and mobile devices.
