For example, in March 2009, Guangdong Province took the lead in the local standard "LED Street Light" DB44/T 609-2009 issued by the state and other regions, to the December 2010 China Quality Certification Center. The CQC3127-2010 (hereinafter referred to as "CQC Street Light Specification") issued by the "LED Road/Tunnel Lighting Product Energy Conservation Certification", and the "Guangdong Province LED Street Light Product Evaluation Benchmark System" issued by the Guangdong Semiconductor Light Source Industry Association in 2012 The management specifications (2012 edition) "GDBMT-TC-I 002-2012 (hereinafter referred to as "Street Light Benchmark Specification") and other standard or specification part of the technical indicators are obviously backward, do not have actual normative significance, or the relevant content is not applicable or needs to be added, Or some specifications are not rigorous enough to be vague. These standards are the source of debate about the pros and cons of LED street lights today. At the beginning of this year, the Guangdong Provincial Standardization Committee proposed the revision of "LED Street Lights", which is a blessing for the development of the industry. It is also the time for industry insiders to correctly understand the LED street lights.

Second, the correct understanding and view of LED street light specifications

About LED street lamp specifications, mainly in the "CQC street lamp specifications" and "road lamp benchmark specifications" have been reflected and clearly required, of which according to the rated luminous flux, the former LED road products are divided into four specifications of 3000lm, 5400lm, 9000lm and 14000lm, the latter will The LED street lamp specifications are divided into three specifications: L-1: <8000lm, L-2: 8000 to 16000lm, and L-3: >16000lm.

The main specifications of traditional street lamps (high-pressure sodium lamps) currently in use are 70W, 150W, 250W, and 400W. The promotion of LED street lamps as a traditional street lamp to replace the above specifications should be highly targeted. Judging from the above two specifications, the "CQC Street Light Specification" has a certain degree of specificity for dividing the product into four specifications, and it also represents the general scholar's view on dividing the specifications of LED street lamps according to the rated luminous flux. The specification of the "Street Light Benchmark Specification" is relatively vague, and has no guiding effect on manufacturers and owners. In fact, it is generally considered that the luminous flux of 5400lm, 9000lm, and 14000lm LED street lamps can replace the traditional street lamps 150W, 250W, and 400W high-pressure sodium lamps, respectively. It is not objective and comprehensive, because such lamps just meet the urban road lighting design standards for road illumination 25~30lx. Or, it can only be equivalent to the low-grade traditional street lighting. Because in fact the general illumination of traditional street lamps is 35 ~ 50lx. Therefore, such an alternative so-called power saving rate is self-deception, sacrificing the existing illuminance value, and there is no way to achieve the road surface effect of the traditional street lamp. Perhaps some experts say that the lamps meet the national road lighting standards, but at the same time there must be another opposition voice: our roads are more and more dark after being replaced by LED street lamps, which also reflects innovation and advancement. According to the survey data of high-pressure sodium lamps commonly used in traditional street lamps by our company and related departments (Table 1).


It can be seen from Table 1 that to completely replace the existing traditional street lamps, the rated luminous flux of the LED street lamps should be equivalent to the luminous flux of the high-grade traditional street lamps in the above table. For the specification 3000lm LED street lamp can replace 70W high pressure sodium lamp; specifications 5400lm, 9000lm LED street lamp can replace 150W low and high two-speed high-pressure sodium lamp respectively; specifications 9000lm, 14000lm LED street lamp replace 250W low-high two-speed high-pressure sodium lamp are undisputed, for owners to choose freely . However, the highest specification of only 14000lm LED street light to replace the 400W high-pressure sodium lamp is more frustrating. The LED street light with a specification of 20000lm luminous flux is urgently added to fill the blank of completely replacing the 400W high-pressure sodium lamp.
