The first production vehicle in Weilai was named "ES8" and debuted at the Shanghai International Motor Show in April this year.
It is reported that ES8 is a high-performance 7-seat pure electric SUV. The seat adopts a 2+3+2 layout. The length of the car is more than 5 meters and the wheelbase is more than 3 meters. The ES8 is made of an all-aluminum body and a chassis. Active air suspension is standard on the entire system. It is equipped with front and rear dual motors and uses four-wheel drive. Appearance using the X-Bar front face and "heartbeat" LED taillights and other family design language. The ES8 supports the exchange mode, which will provide the user with an energy acquisition experience that goes beyond the fueling of the fuel vehicle.
According to Weilai's previous disclosure, ES8 will be responsible for sales by Weilai, starting with first and second-tier cities and gradually extending to more cities.
