Zheng Hui: Our company's wireless products include wireless data transmission series products, wireless ad hoc network products, wireless meter reading solutions and wireless product accessories. In terms of wireless data collection, we can see from our products that our application areas are mainly wireless meter reading, including water meters, electricity meters, and gas meters. In recent years, with the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the people have put forward higher requirements on the living environment. The use of wired data, such as power carrier, M-BUS, and 485, is relatively mature and relatively easy to implement. However, the success rate of power carrier in the country is not high, and M-BUS and 485 have a large amount of work and wiring. The network line is vulnerable to vandalism. After the line is damaged, the fault point is not easy to find. These factors hinder the development of wired data transmission. . The use of wireless data transmission mode, the construction is simple, the system is easy to maintain. Therefore, considering comprehensively, wireless technology is superior to wired technology in most cases.

Among several major wireless communication technologies, wireless ad hoc network technology has gradually revealed its unique advantages, and it will have more development potential based on its own advantages. Currently, wireless communication technologies used in the Internet of Things include GPRS, ZigBee, Wi-Fi (wireless LAN), Bluetooth, RFID (radio frequency technology), and low-frequency wireless ad hoc networks. Zheng Hui: AMT Technologies has recently launched a battery-powered low-power water and gas meter networking solution. The autonomous network structure of the solution adopts a robust mesh structure. It has achieved the first breakthrough in the domestic use of the table-side routing. In other words, each table is a separate router, unlike previous solutions. Add additional routers. Zheng Hui: China's wireless meter reading market has great potential, but at present the application of scale has not yet been formed. Various applications are still in the initial stage, and there are also many problems that need to be resolved. For example, although the country has set a frequency range for meter reading, it has not refined the detailed standards and specifications for the use of spectrum resources, and there are no relevant industry associations to coordinate. Many manufacturers have introduced their own standard products, but each has Oh, they are not compatible with each other and the spectrum is arbitrarily used, causing confusion and waste of spectrum resources. So I think we must coordinate and regulate this market as soon as possible. Compared with the power industry and informatization levels in developed countries such as Europe and the United States, the development of wireless meter reading in the meter field has only just begun. It is in its infancy, but it is undoubtedly a long-term development trend.

In addition, I think there are two main advantages of wireless meter reading in China:

First, China's power grid environment is much worse than foreign countries. Many electrical appliances do not have common-mode filters installed as required, causing significant pollution to the power grid. Such as the assembly of the PC chassis, adjustable incandescent lamps, energy-saving lamps, inverter appliances, elevators that are not installed as required. In the case that the power grid is seriously polluted by various sources of interference, the success rate of the cable is very low, and the survey shows only 60 to 80%; while in the same environment, the advantages of wireless meter reading are reflected and the success rate of meter reading is very high.
