Wuwei County Builds a Strong Smart Grid for the Twelfth Five-Year Plan

With the economic development of Anhui Wuwei County, the demand for electricity will have higher requirements. It is expected that by the end of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”, the maximum load of Wuwei County will reach 400,000 kilowatts, and the annual electricity consumption will exceed (reach) 2 billion kilowatt-hours. In order to adapt to the economic development of the county during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, Wuwei County plans to invest 1.4 billion yuan to build a strong smart grid and promote the continuous economic development of the county.

According to Wuwei County's "12th Five-Year Plan" power grid planning and rural network transformation and upgrading of 6 years (2010-2015) planning projects, during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, Wuwei County's domestic power grid construction major projects are:

A new 500 kV Fudu Substation will be built, with an additional capacity of 2.25 million kVA (3×75 million kVA) for the main transformer and two new 500 kV Fudu Substations supporting two 500 kV lines with a length of 2×150 km. The substation plans to invest 400 million yuan, 500 kV line investment 150 million yuan, a total investment of 550 million yuan; a new 220 kV Tanggou substation, the new capacity of 360,000 kVA (2 x 180 kV An), newly build 220 kV Tanggou to support 220 kV line 2, the line length of about 81 km; planned total investment of 278 million yuan; new 110 kV substation, 4 main transformers, capacity 200,000 kVA Expansion of 110-kilovolt Yau Tung change and south Yunnan, adding one each of the new main transformers, each with a capacity of 50,000 kVA; during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”, a total of 4 new 35 kV lines will be planned with a length of 49.5 kilometers. In addition, during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, Wuwei County also plans to reconstruct 107 107KV lines and 1991.9km of its transformation lines; to transform 2470 substations with a capacity of 351,391KVA; to transform 10KV lines in the station area; 161 kilometers, transform the low-voltage line 3082 kilometers.

During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, Wuwei County will build a strong smart grid by investing 1.4 billion yuan. By then, Wuwei County's grid structure and scale will leap to a new level.
