The XC4366 is an ASK/OOK (on-off key) single-chip RF receiver IC. It is a true monolithic circuit that receives "data output from the antenna." All RF and IF tuning is done in the integrated circuit, eliminating the need for manual adjustments and reducing costs. A highly reliable and low cost solution is achieved. The XC4366 is a full-featured chip in a 16-pin package. The XC4366A/B/C/DL is available in an 8-pin package with a slightly reduced functionality.

The XC4366 provides two additional functions, (1) a shutdown pin that can be used to shut down the device during task cycle operation; (2) a wake-up output pin that provides an output flag when receiving a RF signal . These features make the XC4366 available for low power applications such as RKE and remote control.
All IF filtering and data demodulation filters are available on the XC4366, so no external filters are required. The bandwidth of the four demodulation filters can be controlled externally by the user.
The XC4366 offers two modes of operation: fixed mode (FIX) and scan mode (SWP). In fixed mode, the XC4366 is used as a traditional superheterodyne receiver. In scan mode, the XC4366 scans over a wide range of RF frequencies. Fixed mode provides a more selective and targeted mode of operation and allows the XC4366 to be used with low cost, less accurate transmitters.

·Working voltage: 2.2V-3.6V
· High sensitivity: -108dBm
· Data transmission rate up to 10kbps (fixed mode)
· Low power consumption:
(1) Maximum operating current is 2.5mA at 315MHz; maximum operating current is 3.5mA at 433MHZ
(2) The current at shutdown is 0.9uA
(3) Scan operation (10:1 task cycle operation) Current is 300uA
Wake up output flag to start the decoder and microprocessor
