The emergence of man-machines has provided many conveniences for people's lives and has been widely used in all walks of life. However, its short battery life has always been a headache for researchers. Currently, drones rely on six kinds of power to complete complex work.
1. Lithium battery: Most UAVs are equipped with lithium batteries, but the effect can only last for about 20 minutes, and it is very time-consuming and laborious to disassemble and replace the batteries frequently. In response to this phenomenon, the researchers have explored two new sources of power, greatly improving the efficiency of the drone.
2, hydrogen fuel cell: hydrogen fuel cell instead of lithium battery, can support the drone continuous operation for two hours, and charging is very fast;
3. Laser emitter: The laser transmitter supplies power to the drone. The laser beam emitted from the ground is converted into power by the receiver on the fuselage, which can almost support the drone to work all the time.
4. Solar power generation: UAVs that use solar power are usually equipped with lithium batteries and solar cells at the same time. When there is sunlight, solar power can be used to provide flight power, and lithium batteries are used as backup batteries.
Drone
5. Internal combustion engine power generation: Using internal combustion engine to generate power can support the drone to fly for 1 hour at a speed of 100 kilometers per hour, but the noise is large and there is a safety hazard because there is a flammable gas inside the drone.
6, wired cable power supply: the use of wired cable power supply can almost let the drone permanently, can also speed up the speed of the drone to transfer data to the computer, but due to the limitations of the wired connection, can not complete long-distance flights.
The two power sources of hydrogen fuel cells and laser emitters are favored by the research and development community because of their remarkable effects and high safety factor. They can also provide inspiration for the exploration of power sources of other aircraft in the future.
In addition, drone flight control as a brain connecting all devices, more and more types of interfaces, many novices are discouraged, veterans often look blank. What are the common interfaces in the end, what do you do on the drone?
PWM:
This is the first interface to be introduced, all of which are inseparable from all models and drones. Single-line signal, periodic transmission of positive pulse, change pulse width as a way of transmitting information, one pin transmits a channel, often with a ground wire and power line can control a servo or an ESC, is the first one for drone or model introduction The interface you need to know. The advantage is that a simple and stable transmission of a variable signal, the defect is low speed, the current common standard is 50 times per second or 300 to 400 times.
PPM:
It is an upgraded version of PWM, in which each signal cycle becomes a combination of transmitting a plurality of pulse widths to simultaneously transmit change information of multiple channels. It was also used in the early days for remote control radio signals and RC simulator signals. It is now mostly used for receivers and flight control connections. There are many receivers with PPM signal output, which is a must for the drone entry. Those that use the converter are off. Pants fart. The advantage is that multiple channels are stably transmitted, and the disadvantage is that the speed is slower.
