The new Yasheng LED photoelectric industry base is in full swing. On September 16, the base held a groundbreaking ceremony and officially started construction. It is understood that the optoelectronic industry base is located in the Jinsha Economic Development Zone in Changsha, and will focus on building the “Hangzhou LED Industry Aircraft Carrierâ€.
It is reported that the Xinyasheng LED Optoelectronic Industrial Base will be constructed in two phases. The total planned land area is 62,374 square meters and the total planned construction area is 63,369 square meters. After the project is completed, a provincial LED photoelectric research and development center will be set up, and its comprehensive technology can reach the international advanced level. After all put into production, the annual output value of the base is expected to reach more than 1.5 billion, providing nearly 3,000 jobs, and driving related supporting enterprises to form a complete industrial chain.
“The first phase of the project will invest 100 million yuan and the total construction area will be 24,869 m2. Three LED screen production lines and two LED lighting production lines will be built. It is planned to be completed before the Spring Festival in 2011. After the project is put into production, the annual output value of the first phase is more than 300 million yuan, which can be produced annually. 10 million LED lighting lamps, 800,000 sets of LED display devices. According to reports, the second phase of the project is a cooperation between the company and a Taiwanese company, using a comprehensive cooperation model of technology, capital and equipment, with a total investment of more than 500 million yuan.
